I have this love affair with mirror balls, which might explain why I have one hanging in our Rumpus Room!
I was in a musical once, where there was a massive mirror ball, this thing was huge, about 1m diameter and suspended above the stage.
We used it during the song and dance item called "The Copa Cabana" and right at the moment where Lola spun out in her feathers and heels... the mirror ball fell!
She escaped with centimeters to spare...
Sometimes when someone is feeling "down" it can feel like there is something right above their head about to fall.
Anxiety and stress show up in the weirdest ways sometimes...
