Axel Sigur Starviking

Axel Starviking (He/Him) is a Clinical Hypnotherapist & Psychotherapist based in Buff Point on the Central Coast of NSW, and is also a Radio Presenter on Central Coast Radio.com Wednesday mornings 10 - 12, speaking about Mental Health and bringing awareness to challenges that the LGBTQIA+ community face.

Axel was previously in the Entertainment Business from childhood until 2020 when Covid ended the majority of his face to face and group work (Events, Schools, Private, Disability Support, Aged Support). After running multiple choirs, djembe drumming clubs, hosting events and performing as a Singer Songwriter/Music Producer of Synth Pop in Australia since arriving in 2015, during the pandemic Axel followed up on a lifelong Bucket list item, and studied to become a Clinical Hypnotherapist. He became a Student Leader in the college, and then head of the Student Mentor Program once he Graduated. Becoming proficient in a number of modalities - NLP, CBT, EMDR, Hypnosis, Addiction Counselling, Gestalt, Tapping has allowed Axel to further his lifelong mission to help the people around him.

Axel started Rainbow Lotus Trans Vibe in 2021, because after coming out in 2021 and attempting to start his transition - He saw a need for a professional, supportive group for Trans men who want to do well at life.

Trans individuals face very unique challenges, and often in therapy, they express how isolated and alone they feel on their journey. This group hopes to alleviate that feeling and create a brotherhood of supported, encouraged, motivated and successful individuals. Making real positive and powerful change in their families, communities and friend groups.

Luke Randall

Luke Randall (He/Him) is a co-facilitator for the Rainbow Lotus Trans Vibe's Men's Group.

He is currently in his second year of a Social Work (Honours) degree at the University of Newcastle. He started his advocacy work for Young Carers NSW as part of the Young Carers Leadership program, where he was trained in presenting his story as part of a larger ‘Watch this Space’ presentation that was delivered to teaching faculties at local schools.

Recently he completed the ‘Mental Health First Aid Training’ as well as Allambi’s ‘Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Training’ as part of his education journey. Undertaking these experiences has highlighted the importance of utilising storytelling and workshop type environments to improve overall wellbeing and social connectedness.

He started his transition in 2019 and have found many strengths in sharing his perspectives and journey to people within the wider community. I think it’s imperative that we raise awareness and create a safe and supportive network for the Transgender identifying community on the Central Coast.

“I hope to be a part of this process for many years to come. I look forward to getting to know all of you and I hope we can create and provide much needed support to the community.”
